HAMBURG, GERMANY & SHEBOYGAN, WI--Körber PaperLink GmbH (a member of the intl. Körber group) is reporting a "restructuring of activities due to the current market situation." The co. notes this includes all activities of Pemco Inc., mfr. of packaging machines, and the SHM folio sheeter program.

The Pemco product portfolio will continue to be sold and supported on a worldwide basis by the existing Körber PaperLink sales organizations. This includes the products of other Körber PaperLink companies: E.C.H. Will; Kugler-Womako; Wrapmatic; Fabio Perini; Casmatic; and Diatec.
In the future, Wrapmatic, located in Bologna, Italy, and market leader of folio-size packaging machines, will be responsible for the development and the design of the packaging portfolio. These products will continue to be produced in the United States and Italy.
The same applies to the SHM sheeter series, which also will be produced in North America and Italy. E.C.H. Will, market leader of cut-size sheeters and supplier of high-performance folio sheeters, will be responsible for the development and the design of this product line.
With these activities, Körber PaperLink is responding to changed conditions of the North American market and confirms its leading position as partner for equipment and services of the paper industry.
