IPMS Uses Xeikon for Shelf Strips

ITASCA, IL | Xeikon reports Information Planning & Mfg. Systems (IPMS), Sterling, VA, recently integrated two Xeikon 5000 digital color presses into its operations, which include a total of seven Xeikon presses throughout North America. CEO EJ Dale says, “We needed a high-speed press that would print digital variable data for sheet lengths up to four feet long and greater, so that it could be cut down into finished shelf strips that are store specific. Due to its incredible format flexibility, Xeikon offers the only technology capable of printing our shelf strips.”

The press handles paper width from 12.6-20 in. with virtually no restriction on the length of the printed pieces. It allows users to print on both sides simultaneously for perfect front-to-back registration and data integrity.
