Uteco Sells Flexo Presses to Korsnas

VERONA, ITALY—Uteco Converting SpA reports the sale of two flexographic printing presses to the international group Korsnas Packaging. According to Italy-based Uteco, the group is a world-leader in the production of sacks and packaging systems and has manufacturing facilities in several countries.

The two Jade model flexo presses will be used to print paper, are designed to print large repeats for wide-web jobs, and will be delivered to two different European plants later this year, says Uteco. The Italian converting equipment manufacturer adds the presses' unwinder and rewinder equipment are designed for large diameter paper reels, and each press was customized for the differing needs of the two Korsnas operations.
