Corus to Increase Foil Prices

WESTON, ON, CANADA—Corus L.P. announces a price increase for all of its foil orders (Corus L.P. Aluminum Rolled Products) by $.05 to .08 per lb., depending on specific product lines. Price increase is effective with orders acknowledged week ending September 7, 2002, co. says.

"Recent developments in the marketplace, coupled with long-overdue economic considerations, lead [us to the increase]," says Renee Brown, co.'s director of foil markets. Mfr. adds Corus customers will hear from their sales reps as to relevant product price increases.
