IST METZ Starts Work on New Facility


NUERTINGEN, GERMANY | IST METZ Group recently broke ground for a new facility. The company reports a promising outlook for orders led to the decision to tear down a building purchased in 2006 that has been used as a warehouse and being construction on a new plant. At the beginning of this year, the extension of the building of subsidiary eta plus electronic was finished, doubling the production area.

After completion of the three-story building in early 2015, subsidiary S1 Optics and parts of subsidiary gerhard metz metallbau will move into the building and enlarge their production area. The company reports the new plant will be built with energy efficiency.
