Workflow Software RIPs PDF Files in Native Format

Mobile, AL | Xanté introduces OpenRIP Flexo 7.0 Professional that’s said to raise the bar for affordable flexography workflow software by incorporating the latest version of the Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) to RIP PDF files in their native format. This reportedly ensures file integrity for flexo and label printers throughout the workflow. OpenRIP technology, company says, advances the delivery of substantial screening, color, linearization, and dot gain developments while also fully integrating the Pantone Matching System and Pantone Goe System Color Libraries. Results include color-accurate viewing and proofing (on monitor or hardcopy) and support for RGB, Lab, and CMYK color spaces with improved spot, process, and RGB color representation and output. Can speed trapping assessments and color modifications. New halftone post-processing feature removes dots too small to reproduce on press. Modular design of OpenRIP Flexo is claimed to allow users to easily add options to meet growing production needs. Visit:
