Awards Honor Printing Produced on Diversity of HP Print Process Systems

PALO ALTO, CA | HP is calling for entries for its first worldwide HP Print Excellence Awards recognizing graphic arts printing produced on HP Designet, Indigo, Inkjet Web Press, and Scitex systems. The competition unifies several existing regional and worldwide HP print quality awards into a single, comprehensive program. Innovative examples of environmentally responsible printing also will be honored.

A judging panel of international print experts will choose winners in 16 categories of applications involving label and packaging, commercial print, and wide-format graphics.

Entrance to the HP Print Excellence Awards is free for HP graphic arts customers with entry details and forms available by clicking here. Deadline for entries is March 15, 2012, and winners will be announced at an invitation-only gala event held during drupa 2012 in Dusseldorf, Germany, next May. A selection of entries will be featured at HP’s stand in hall 4 at drupa.

“The HP Print Excellence Awards will show how customers fully express their ingenuity, creativity and skill using HP solutions,” said Christopher Morgan, senior vice president, Graphics Solutions Business, HP. “We look forward to seeing how our customers are advancing the analog to digital transformation and achieving new levels of color quality and innovation.”
