Montalvo Offers Free Data Sheet For Advanced Dancer Roller

GORHAM, ME | The Montalvo Corp. is offering a free data sheet for its new D-3400 dancer controller, which was developed to provide accurate, repeatable tension control for unwind applications that use dancer arm control systems.

The D-3400 uses an RS-232 interface to computer and standard fieldbus connections, provides inertia compensation, includes “Progressive PID” circuitry that regulates tension-based on dancer position, adjusts system gain based on roll diameter, offers digital diagnostics and web break detection, is available mounted in a cabinet or in a circuit board version, and has many other features (including optional features such as splice and range expansion capabilities) and benefits that are covered in the data sheet.
