Bosch Rexroth Choosesei3 for Customer Calls

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL, USA—Bosch Rexroth Corp. reports it has entered into an agreement with ei3 Corp., which Bosch (a drive and control manufacturer) says says will "provide call-receiving and forwarding functions for Bosch Rexroth's customer service center."

According to Bosch, the new service hotline provides its customers—including distributors, OEMs, and end users—in North America with around-the-clock access to service support, 365 days a year. The call center will include all Bosch Rexroth customers in the business units of electric drives and controls; industrial hydraulics, linear motion, and assembly technologies; and pneumatics, adds co.

"The 1-800-REXROTH number serves as a single point of contact for all service-related issues, leading to better and faster customer service," says Gary Blanemeyer, VP/GM of Bosch Rexroth Service Automation. "ei3 has proven itself as an effective 24/7 engineering center, and its technical expertise in process issues will improve service to our customers dramatically," he adds.

Available only to North American customers, says Bosch, the toll-free number gives callers access to a "helpful ei3 operator to gather information and seamlessly connect them to one of Bosch Rexroth's business units, Bosch Rexroth Canada or Bosch Rexroth Mexico." Bosch adds, "ei3's speed and experience in this 'escalation,' or forwarding, process will save customers valuable time and money."
