Elite Cameron, Inc. to Supply Two Custom Slitting Machines to a Mid-West Nonwovens Manufacturer

Elite Cameron, Inc., manufacturer of the Elite Cameron range of slitting and rewinding, coating and laminating machines will supply custom slitting equipment to an American nonwoven manufacturer and converter located in the Midwest producing materials directly related to the fight against COVID-19.  The two custom machines are Elite Cameron model CW800HD center-wind slitters that are due for delivery later this year.

“Given the urgent need for this equipment, we’ve made adjustments to production to make them a priority,” said Rob McNamee, business development manager for Elite Cameron. “These machines are progressing very well and we’re proud to be working on such an important project.”

With current travel restrictions, Elite Cameron has reportedly made every effort to continue to have a clear line of communication throughout all project stages with all of its many customers. Elite Cameron has also seen a shift toward machines for medical products and other materials used in the fight against COVID-19.

“While we’ve seen that some industries we’re involved with have slowed, we’ve been busy with machines for medical and PPE materials,” he added. “We’ll continue to use our expertise to do what we can to support.”
