Call for Entries: Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition

FPA’s prestigious Highest Achievement Award. This award is given to a Gold Award winner ranked by the judges as having contributed most to the advancement of the industry.

Showcase your company’s most innovative flexible packaging solutions by entering the Flexible Packaging Association’s (FPA) 2020 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition. This annual competition, sponsored by FPA, honors industry advancements in innovation and technology in flexible packaging that are meeting the challenges of today and delivering flexible packaging solutions for a multitude of products.

The entry deadline is Friday, October 25, 2019. The Call for Entries provides an overview of the Achievement Awards program, the competition rules, including eligibility requirements and entry fees, complete instructions on how to enter, and the official entry form that must be submitted to FPA. The official Call for Entries brochure is available on the FPA website, www.flexpack.org.

The competition is open to FPA members. Non-members may enter a package if they have not participated in previous competitions, may only participate in the competition once as a non-member, and must be a flexible packaging manufacturer. FPA associate members that have contributed to a package may enter jointly with the package converter.

Winning entries of the 64th Annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition will be announced on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, during the FPA 2020 Annual Meeting (March 4-6, 2020) at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, Bonita Springs, Fla. A panel of industry experts will judge the competition entries. Gold and Silver Awards will be given in the following six categories: Expanding the Use of Flexible Packaging, Technical Innovation, Sustainability, Printing, Shelf Impact, and Packaging Excellence. The Flexible Packaging Highest Achievement Award will be presented to a Gold award-winning package ranked by the judges as having contributed most to the advancement of the industry.

All competition entries and winning packages will be featured in the FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards & Innovation Showcase, which includes photos of submitted packages, package descriptions, and details about package manufacturers, end-users/customers, designers, and key suppliers. Winning entries will also be included in several industry trade publications including Flexible Packaging magazine, packagePRINTING, Packaging Digest, Packaging World, Converting Quarterly, and Converting Solutions magazine, a PFFC Brand.
