INX Digital Brings Its UV Inks to US

SAN LEANDRO, CA | INX Digital has introduced MGA UV-curable pigmented inks to the US marketplace. The newest TRIANGLE brand product from the digital division of INX International Ink Co. is a premium high-density, acrylate-based grand format alternative inkjet ink set. Formulated specifically for use with the Durst Rho series of printers, it is said to produce outstanding results with multiple benefits and is designed with environmental conservation in mind.

MGA offers a wide color gamut and is intended for use with a variety of display graphics media including point-of-purchase displays, backlit display prints, and more. Michael Armstrong, INX Digital’s regional sales manager for the eastern US, says printers also have a strong financial incentive to consider. “Printing with MGA inks can add 20 to 25 percent to a printer’s bottom line, but the results truly speak for themselves. Brilliant color density and ink coverage, and improved adhesion make for a much higher quality print that is attractive to many customers. MGA also is formulated to meet or exceed GRACoL color space.

Inks are available in CMYK, light Cyan and Magenta, Orange, Violet, Green, White, and Clear and inks with company’s worldwide outdoor durability and ink train warranties.

Company says product is in line with the its global preservation commitment, and product and package design makes it easy for recycling purposes. The outer packaging is constructed from cardboard, and the inks use a bag-n-box configuration. Using quick-connect maintains the closed ink system on all Durst printers, and the inner bag requires 75% less plastic than the typical 5-liter bottle, reportedly creating significant waste reduction.
