EAST PASADENA, CA | Avery Dennison offered what is calls a colorful and creative showcase of self-adhesive graphic solutions at the recent FESPA Digital 2014 in Munich, Germany. The company adds that visitors to the trade show saw a broad array of new application solutions for the automotive and architectural segments.

“Avery Dennison [used] FESPA Digital 2014 to show how a wide range of both new and existing materials can give customers the ‘stand-out’ performance they need to make their application results different—whether tackling the most demanding or more straightforward of projects,” says Renae Kulis, global senior director graphics. “And this is backed by our ongoing product innovation, ease of application, and reliable supply and support.”

The portfolio featured at Fespa Digital 2014 includes cast, polymeric and monomeric films, said to meet both everyday and special needs, including products that can adhere even to plastic or rough surfaces. New product MPI 3010 was a highlight of company’s self-adhesive digital imaging films.

Company also offers adhesive technology, including permanent and removable adhesives and the patented Easy Apply RS technology. This reportedly enables easy repositioning and high slidability ensuring correct positioning of the film and secures clean removal on top, enhancing productivity and saving time during application. A large selection of free ICC profiles is said to help converters optimize print quality and take advantage of support from initial choice to final application.

Supreme Wrapping Films were showcased on a wrapped car. Also featured were a range of colored, opaque films designed for a broad range of signmaking applications, and a wide selection of translucent, metallic, and specialty films. A REACH compliant product developed for more demanding surface shapes, 777 cast film is for both indoor and outdoors signs, including application over curved substrates and jobs requiring applied durability of up to eight years.
