Print Shrink Sleeves with UV

Uvisleeve UV-curable flexo shrink sleeve ink is said to deliver the advantages of UV printing to the flexo shrink label market. Reportedly features excellent printability. Low-odor chemistry makes ink suitable for use with food and beverage products. Available in a full range of blending system colors as well as both standard and intense halftones.


UV Ink Suited for Letterpress

Opaque white UV ink, designated 22024-17, is designed for letterpress applications. Ink is said to be very strong and to be resistant to scuff and rub. Will run well on both paper and synthetic label stocks, company says, and cured film exhibits a good flexibility factor.

The ThermoFlex CTP platesetter is a narrow hybrid flexo-offset device called ideal for narrow web printers wanting high quality print results on a wide variety of substrates. Features company’s Hyperflex resolution enhancement ready imaging software for flexo and Staccato screening software for offset. Architecture is said to facilitate plate loading and unloading to minimize plate damage.


Foil Labels are Tough

XF Series label materials are based on aluminum foil rather than synthetic plastic films. Labels can withstand temperatures in excess of 800 deg F for prolonged periods of time. Labels are said to withstand hydraulic fluid, kerosene, gasoline, degreasers, brake fluid, and more, including alcohols and detergents.
