Verify Linear and 2-D Bar Codes

The Integra 9500 all-in-one bar code verifier is certified by EAN/UCC Authorities as 100% compliant for all their users. PC-based verifier is in full compliance with the data storage regulations for the pharmaceutical industry, as defined in 21.CFR.Part 11. Analytical software is said to be easy to operate, and multi-combinations of different symbologies—both linear and 2-D—can be verified at one time.

Inspect Rewound Rolls Easily

The VSR300 inspection rewinder is for slitting and finishing of printed p-s rolls. Said to be easy to run, allowing operator to see both the unwind and rewind rolls easily while inspecting. Proximity of the slitter cartridge to the rewind and the use of separator rings ensure effective winding of narrow slit webs, company reports.

Also included are specialty labeling materials for battery, security, and circuit board applications.

Combo Presses Servo Driven

The FA-Line of flexo combination presses currently covers maximum web widths of 13, 16, and 20 in., with other widths to come. All presses are equipped with direct servo drives for the main operating functions, with no gears on the printing cylinders, to facilitate the printing of various film and paper-based substrates.

Curtain Coat at High Speeds

Robond PS 7650 adhesive for curtain coating technology will coat at line speeds to 1,300 mpm, reportedly a significant increase over normal operating speeds for label production lines. Said to meet the performance needs of a wide range of general-purpose applications.

Splicer Suited to Various Webs

The MBS Model splicer features a cantilevered spindle technique with integrated roll handling and company’s patented butt splice. Can be configured for wider webs, larger rolls, and faster speeds, as well as narrow web applications from supported film (MBS-F) and unsupported film (MBS-LT and MBS-LTI) to p-s and light board substrates.

Reduce Nitrogen in UV

In cooperation with Air Liquide, company offers a UV curing system in which the nitrogen consumption is reduced greatly. A gas seal kit allows an oxygen content in the curing zone down to less than 30 ppm, with nitrogen consumption as low as 5 liters/sq m/printed color.
