Win Free Registration And Airfare For Boston Conference

Attendees at the Polymers, Laminations and Coatings Conference in San Diego in August can win a free registration and round trip air transportation on Delta Air Lines for the Polymers, Laminations and Coatings Conference next year. The meeting will be at the Boston Marriott Copley Place hotel located at Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts. The dates for the conference are September 8-12, 2002.

A drawing each year at the Polymers, Laminations and Coatings Conference selects one person for this award. To enter the drawing, a conference registrant only needs to complete the Best Paper, Best Session, and Dragon Djordjevic Awards nomination form. Attendees receive the form when they register at the meeting. The completed form must be returned in person to the conference registration desk only during the one-hour period after the end of the final conference session on Thursday, August 30. Forms received outside this time are not eligible for the drawing. Each registrant can enter only one form. The winner is selected by random from these entrants.

The free registration covers all the official conference events to include technical sessions, Table Top reception, gala conference celebration, etc. The Delta Air Lines award is for round trip travel by coach class from the closest city served by the airline to the winner's home. Depending on the actual airfare from that city to Boston, the award could be worth $1000-1500. The only remaining major expense for the winner would be a hotel room.

Persons planning to attend the 2001 Polymers, Laminations and Coatings Conference should therefore be certain to schedule their departure from San Diego so they can enter this contest. This would mean an early afternoon flight from San Diego. Note that the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina is only 1/4 mile from San Diego's Lindbergh Field using complimentary shuttle from the hotel.

The winner at the 2000 Polymers, Laminations and Coatings Conference for the free registration and airfare to the meeting in San Diego in 2001 was Paul R. Elich of Bryce Corp. Memphis, TN.
