Roland DGA Ink Wins European Digital Press Award

IRVINE, CA | Roland DGA Corp. reports the new eco-solvent ink, Eco-Sol MAX 2 has won the European Digital Press Assn. (EDP) award in the Best New Generation Solvent Ink Technology category at the EDP ceremony held at FESPA 2013.

The latest generation of company’s award-winning eco-solvent ink is available in CMYKLcLm, light black, white, and metallic silver and has been designed to deliver maximum performance in terms of outdoor durability, scratch resistance, image sharpness, chemical resistance, and color gamut. Ink is said to be compatible with an extensive range of print media on the market, including Roland DGA’s own line, and it is also nickel free.

The EDP judges said they selected the product because of its ease of use, the reduction of harmful substances in its formulation, and the outstanding print quality it delivers. “This is just what the users want,” the judging panel stated in its evaluation.

Ink is available for company’s newest eight-channel large-format digital printers, the SOLJET Pro 4 XF-640 four-color high-speed inkjet printer and the SOLJET Pro 4 XR-640.
