K 2013 Will Show How Plastics Move the World

CHICAGO, IL | The next K Show, International Trade Fair – No. 1 for Plastics and Rubber Worldwide, comes to the Fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, October 16 - 23, 2013. Among the attractions will be a show within a show entitled “Plastics Move the World,” organized by the German plastics industry under the overall management of PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. and Messe Düsseldorf.   

The special event focuses on plastics as a material motivates and facilitates personal mobility. Included will be several aspects of mobility, from lightweight materials in the design of motor vehicles, aircrafts, and ships to electro mobility and individual mobility.

Using multimedia through selected exhibits and daily discussions with experts from science and industry, the event will offer climate-compatible energy and transport concepts as well as information on the changes in work and personal life due to mobile means of communication.

K 2010 offered 3,098 exhibitors and welcomed 220,000 visitors. Exhibitor registration deadline for the 2013 edition is May 31, 2012.
