Drent Goebel Hosts Open House

PRESS RELEASE

EERBEEK, HOLLAND—For the first time ever, Drent Goebel will demonstrate a variable sleeve offset printing (VSOP) press in its newly acquired facility in Montreal, Canada. From June 22-27, 2006, a seven-color litho press with a web width of 33.5 inches will be shown at an Open House. The press also is equipped with a downstream coater and EB curing unit.

VSOP will demonstrate the ability to easily print paper wrap around labels, film for beverage wrappers and flexible packaging, in-mold labels, shrink sleeves, and folding carton, all possible on one machine without having to change the press configuration. VSOP is a technology with makes variable print lengths possible in offset. The technology combines the advantages of offset with those of flexo and gravure.

During the Open House, visitor can attend workshops about quality, cost saving, and environmental issues. For more information, visit drent-goebel.com.
