AF&PA Releases November 2010 Containerboard Report

WASHINGTON, DC | The American Forest & Paper Assn. (AF&PA) has released the November 2010 US Containerboard Statistics Report. For the 13th straight month, containerboard production rose over same month a year ago. Total production saw an increase of 33,800 tons or 1.2%, when compared to November 2009.  Production fell compared to October 2010, however, the monthover-month average daily production was flat, down just 0.9%. Year-to-date 2010 production has increased 7.8% over 2009. The containerboard operating rate for November 2010 was up 5.4 points over November 2009 to 94.9%.
