Eco-Friendly Packaging for an Eco-Friendly Product

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL | BeeCeuticals Organics has launched an earth friendly way to package its Hive Five Kits. The new case, which contains five travel size products, is made entirely from 100% U.S. grown corn, not foreign petroleum. This material is produced from plastic that consists of polyactide, a corn-based polymer.

Corn plastic is more energy efficient than other plastics and takes 60% less fossil fuels to produce. It also comes from yearly renewable resources, is recyclable, and industrially compostable and biodegradeable.

The Hive Five Kit consists of:

  • USDA Certified Oranic Body Balm.
  • The Royal Treatment Facial Cream, made with 82% Certificed Organic Ingredients.
  • Bee-Hair-Now Shampoo, made with 60% Certified Organic Ingredients.
  • Bee-Hair-Now Conditioner, made with 87% Certified Organic Ingredients.
  • Honey Thyme Hand and Body Lotion, made with 76% Certified Organic Ingredients.
For each Hive Five Kit sold, BeeCeuticals will plant a pollinator-friendly tree as part of its Trees for Bees program. It already has planted over 10,000 pollinator-friendly trees around the globe since the launch of Trees for Bees during National Pollinator Wee in June 2007.
