W&H In-House Expo Highlights Numerous Innovations

LENGERICH, GERMANY—From October 10-12, 2006, Windmoeller & Hoelscher will hold an in-house Expo at its Lengerich, Germany, headquarters. It will feature the company's latest developments in the field of printing and extrusion. In the field of extrusion, the Expo will highlight two new dies, nine-layer Maxicone and three-layer Maxicone C, capable of handling extreme layer ratios. With the new Filmatic TX turret winder, film rolls 50% larger in diameter can be wound at higher speeds.

In addition to three Varex blown film systems of various specifications, the in-house Expo will include the demonstration of a nine-layer Filmex cast film system featuring a completely redesigned chill roll unit and the new generation SMB barrier screws. Easy-Set impression setting system and Easy-Reg register setup system will show how to optimize makeready procedures. Also on show will be an upgraded Port-A-Sleeve system demonstrating deck makeready of a 10-color Novoflex CM without interrupting production. The show program is completed with a data info center.
