Two Companies Succeed with HP Digital Printing

PRESS RELEASE

PALO ALTO, CA—In 2005 Pewaukee, WI-based The Glennon Group expanded into digital printing with the purchase of an HP Indigo ws4050. The press' ability to skip thermal transfer printing while producing reportedly graphically superior labels has enhanced The Glennon Group's profitability. The company now offers enhanced SKU management services for its manufacturing clients, enabling one-pass production of printed labels instead of inkjet imprinting SKUs on flexo-printed labels. The press also is said to enable efficient production of jobs with different-sized labels and multiple SKUs.

Model Graphics, Cincinnati, OH, also has installed an HP Indigo ws4050 for short-to-medium runs of high-quality, full-color labels. The press' end-to-end digital workflow and color imaging enable the 39-employee firm to capture applications ranging from St. Patrick's Day lapel badges for a local Irish pub to vibrant brand-assured labels for a leading consumer products company.
