Print Council Reflects on 2005

Along with appointing Ben Cooper its new executive director, the Print Council had a successful 2005. Among the Print Council's activities in 2005 are:

  • Dubled the membership in 2005.
  • Established an annual dues system with over $300,000 in renewals collected and $150,000 in new member dues.
  • Initiated over $500,000 in pro-bono services.
  • Welcomed NewPage and the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) as members.
  • Provided a no-cost press conference at Broadford & Maloney's MediaDays in May 2005 with a value of $26,000. (Will do the same in 2006).
  • Created a new logo and identity system.
  • Initiated book project on "The Value of Print" with Frank Romano.
  • Redesigned Web site.
  • Arranged for speaking engagements at events for the PIA, NPTA, Executive Outlook, WOA, and Print Oasis.
