RK's FlexiProof Serves as a Flexo Training Tool

LITLINGTON, UK - RK Print Coat Instruments has supplied FlexiProof 100 machines to Mid-Sweden University, the Finland Research Centre and China's Zhongshan University. FlexiProof is a scaled down version of a flexographic press, providing real-world flexo training for educational and research centers with space and cost restraints.

FlexiProof 100 provides multiple tools utilized in a number of ways. Printers and converters use the machine for pilot runs, while the FlexiProof with integrated UV curing is being used by ink, resin, and chemical manufacturers, envelope printers, flexo label printers, board manufacturers and converters, substrate producers, in-plant ink departments, and others engaged in using or manufacturing flexo inks. Others use the system for quality control and printability testing, research and development, and determining performance properties - such as wear and scratch resistance, flexibility, and gloss.
