Pace Named as a Green Company

PRESS RELEASE

REEDSBURG, WI—Pace Industries, a plastic extrusion specialist, has been designated as a green power company by the Wisconsin Public Power Inc. (WPPI). This honor is awarded to companies that procure a threshold amount of its energy needs by either wind, water, organic materials, or other renewable resources. Pace's facility has secured a percentage of WPPI's wind turbine power as an alternative energy source instead of the traditional products used such as coal, oil, or natural gas. The wind power purchased reportedly is the equivalent to 22 tons of coal generated power, or the power consumed by 52 homes, annually.

To learn more about Pace's environmentally-friendly initiatives, including bio-based polymers, an engineered polystyrene for faster degradation in litter form, customer recycling programs, and more, see pace-industries-inc.com.
