Drytac Laminator Called Heavy-Duty Unit

RICHMOND, VA | Drytac announces the latest model in its line of second-generation JetMounter roller laminators. The JM63 Pro XD, is called a versatile, freestanding roller laminator with a 63-in. (1,600-mm) laminating width and is said to be a good solution for those seeking a heavy-duty machine at a fraction of the cost.

The new model can be used with thermal overlaminates as well as pressure-sensitive overlaminates and adhesives. It is said to offer a full array of features, including a top roller with adjustable temperature to 248 deg F (120 deg C); large-diameter, non-stick silicone rollers; adjustable speed control to 20 fpm (6 mpm); a maximum nip opening of 2 in. (50.8 mm); and five auto-grip supply and take-up shafts with brake tension control on the operator side. Among the applications of interest to converters are floor graphics.

According to product manager Nate Goodman, “The Pro XD was designed to last. A huge advantage of the machine is its ability to repeat jobs consistently, and it has features that provide greater control for the operator.” Company is an international manufacturer of adhesive-coated products, including graphic films, window films, double-side
