Jindal Films Announces New Metallizer & BOPP Line

BRINDISI, ITALY | Jindal Films Europe, a manufacturer of specialty biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, is increasing metallizing and extrusion capabilities at its Brindisi site.

Designed to further improve production flexibility, a 10.5-m orientation line will be installed by Q4, 2016, increasing capacity by more than 50,000 tons per year. The metallizer is expected to start-up in Q2, 2016 and will add 10,000 tons of metallization capacity.
