Dow Increases Prices on Polyglycols

MIDLAND, MI | Dow Chemical Co. announces that its Polyglycols and Surfactants business has increased the North American off-list prices of certain Carbowax and Carbowax Sentry polyethylene glycols (PEGs) and other polyglycol products, effective January 1, 2008.

Price increases for select polyglycols will range from $0.13 per lb. to $0.20 per lb., depending on the product and the grade. These increases are driven by strong demand and persistently high raw material costs. See dow.com.
