PCMC Announces New Nonwoven and Custom Capabilities

GREEN BAY, WI, USA—Custom-built and nonwovens machinery are just two more things that customers now can get from Paper Converting Machine Co. The Green Bay, WI-based converting equipment supplier says it has formed two new groups within its Special Products Division: the Custom Machine-Building Group and the Nonwovens Group.

"PCMC has a long history of building custom machinery for a wide range of industries," say Mike Boylan, director—sales & marketing, Special Products. "We have the capability to build machines of all different types and sizes in our large manufacturing facilities worldwide." (The co. reports it has operating divisions in England, Italy, Japan, and Germany in addition to its Green Bay facility.)

According to the mfr., the formation of the new custom group enables PCMC sales engineers to offer a wide range of solutions for machinery audits, rebuilds, upgrades, cam manufacturing, and contract manufacturing of new equipment.

Boylan says the company's new nonwovens group also will be able to offer converters solutions for their nonwovens manufacturing. "We can build just about anything a customer needs," he reports. "We have many years of experience in manufacturing equipment for sawing, pinch cut-off, and die cutting—as well as folding, stacking, and wetting of nonwovens materials. In fact," he adds, "we can build the same converting equipment for dry process nonwovens as well.
