Test Polymers

The SEPAP 12/24 medium-pressure mercury arc testing instrument is an accelerated photo-aging device that examines photodegradation mechanisms of polymeric formulations in lab conditions. Designed as an analytical tool to understand the degradation mechanisms of naturally aging polymers at the molecular level, unit replicates the chemical changes in accelerated, controlled lab conditions achieved through long-term, natural weathering conditions, from which similar changes in macroscopic properties can be expected.
