Precision Roll Grinders Names Butkovich COO

Ed Gumina, President and CEO of Precision Roll Grinders, announced Larry Butkovich’s promotion to COO.
Precision Roll Grinders President and CEO, Ed Gumina, has announced the promotion of Larry Butkovich to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As Chief Operating Officer, Butkovich will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations and work closely with executive leadership to carry out strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, and support continued growth. In his new role, he will lead efforts to ensure efficient and effective processes across all areas of the business while maintaining Precision Roll Grinders’ commitment to quality, customer service, safety and continuous improvement.

Prior to being appointed COO, Butkovich served as Precision Roll Grinders’ vice president of sales and marketing, and as vice president of operations, helping to strengthen operational performance and support the company’s growth across its four manufacturing facilities. In conjunction with his promotion, Butkovich has been appointed to the Precision Roll Grinders Board of Directors.
Butkovich holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master of business administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Butkovich joined Precision Roll Grinders after a distinguished career in manufacturing and engineering leadership. He served as general manager of Fuji Electric Corporation of America’s Virginia Assembly Center in Roanoke, Virginia, and as general manager of Electric Vehicle (EV) Systems in Edison, New Jersey. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with International Battery, Cobasys and General Motors Powertrain.
