Singapore Show Helps Nilpeter Spread its Asian Influence

Nilpeter showcased its approach to narrow web label and packaging converting at Labelexpo Singapore, held in late November. The main attraction at the company,s booth was live demonstrations of the recently-introduced FA-3300, shown with eight UV-flexo printing units, a freely-interchangeable "Drop-In" rotary screen unit, and a cold foil station for metallized effects.

CMM 2005 AIMCAL Pavilion Almost Sold Out

CMM Intl. show management have announced that the space allocated for the AIMCAL pavilion at the 2005 event is nearly sold out. The pavilion ("The World of Metallizing, Coating, and Laminating Solutions") has already surpassed the 2003 CMM show in the number of exhibitors and square feet sold.

CMM Seeks Nominations for 2005 Converter of the Year

CMM Intl. is seeking nominations for the 2005 Converter of the Year award to be handed out prior to the show. Nominations are due by January 31, 2005, and should include a brief description of the nominee and their contribution to the converting industry.

The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), a society dedicated to promoting, developing, and maintaining the advancement of flexography, has launched a rigorous drive aimed at recruiting new members. Heidelberg USA's Speedmaster SM 52-D with inline die-cutting won PIA/GATF's InterTech Award for innovation, the only offset press in the industry to achieve this honor this year. The win marks the 21st InterTech Award for Heildelberg since the program began in 1978.

Max Daetwyler Corp. and Disti Kleen are working together to sell and service Renzmann, Monzingen, Germany, products to both printing and non-printing customers. Disti Kleen has been the exclusive representative for Renzmann equipment in the chemical industry in the U.S., Canada, and Central and South America since 1981. Daetwyler has been selling and servicing Renzmann products for the printing industry for over 20 years. Additionally, they are now responsible for service support and spare parts for the Disti Kleen customers.
