IPCO Presents Turnkey Process Solutions for Tomorrow’s Composite Materials

At JEC World 2026 in Paris, a key highlight of IPCO’s presence will be their March 11 presentation and networking session at 09:30–09:55  GMT in Agora 6, “IPCO’s role in composites for a circular future: innovation in sustainable manufacturing.”

Following the presentation, visitors are invited to attend a networking session to gain insights into high‑performance composite processing from IPCO experts, and visit Hall 6 Stand 6R68.

IPCO, a leading manufacturer of industrial processing systems, will use JEC World 2026 to showcase its ability to deliver turnkey solutions for the production of advanced composite materials.

The company’s portfolio encompasses market-leading double belt press and scattering systems, high precision thin film casting technologies, and an extensive range of web converting solutions including unwinding and winding equipment. A key focus of the stand will be a model of its ThermoPress system, a multi-stage solution that can be integrated into highly efficient systems incorporating other IPCO process technologies.

IPCO’s systems are widely used in the production of composite materials with applications across the automotive, aerospace, flooring, construction, non-woven, textile and recycling industries. Another key sector is next generation energy applications, with applications including separators and membranes for batteries and fuel cells, and high-strength lightweight EV components.

Key topics will include:

Thermopress Double Belt Presses

IPCO’s ThermoPress double belt press range is unique in encompassing technology based on PTFE belts, steel belts, or a combination of both. Systems are configurable to handle everything from low pressure consolidation to high pressure, high temperature applications such as thermoset/thermoplastic materials. IPCO will showcase a ThermoPress demo model at the booth, allowing visitors to experience the process firsthand.

Scatterpro Precision Scattering

IPCO ScatterPro systems enable precision scattering of powders, granulates or fibers. The FX model is designed to handle high volume waste streams such as synthetic and natural fibers, production trim waste, glass fiber waste and even decommissioned wind turbine blades. This ultra-versatile system can process dissimilar products (e.g. wood, foam, glass, plastic) without separating, and can create a web/batt up to 100 mm thick.

Thin Film Casting Lines

IPCO’s film casting system can be used in conjunction with the company’s Venturi drying technology to dramatically improve the casting process, enabling the production of films, tapes, and membranes to exceptionally narrow tolerances.

Web Handling Systems

IPCO’s recent acquisition of US-based web converting equipment manufacturer New Era Converting has significantly enhanced its turnkey capabilities. By bringing coating, laminating, embossing, calendering and other technologies under the same roof as its press and film casting equipment, IPCO can now deliver an even broader range of end-to-end production solutions.

New Productivity Center

IPCO’s new Productivity Center in Fellbach, near Stuttgart, provides a showcase for its full range of production solutions for composite materials. The facility enables customers to carry out process testing, product development and small-scale batch production on press, scattering, and film casting lines, as well as associated upstream equipment.
