The Griff Network Appoints David Shur Director of Hot Melt Coated Products

The Griff Network, an integrated leader in specialty paper and film solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran David Schur as Director of Hot Melt Coated Products.

A 20-year veteran of the adhesives, bonding, and converting industry, Schur joins the leadership team to spearhead the growth and market expansion of Griffs advanced hot melt coating division. David brings a distinguished track record of driving breakthrough growth in complex B2B sectors, including high-performance elastomers. technical adhesives. and engineered sealing solutions. 

Most recently, Schur served as Director of Marketing for TBP Converting, where he was a primary catalyst for the vision and trajectory of their manufacturing division. Under his leadership, the division evolved from a nascent operation with just two pieces of equipment into a sophisticated multi-site manufacturing powerhouse.

David oversaw the expansion to over 20 specialized production lines across facilities in Pennsylvania and Texas, leading a team of over 30 professionals and driving the division to account for more than 10 percent of total company sales.

Schur holds an MBA with an emphasis in Operations and Quality Management Systems and a BSBA in Marketing from Bloomsburg University. His unique blend of technical material knowledge, operational scaling experience, and modern marketing strategy will help propel The Griff Network into new markets and applications.
