The upgraded FG710S IR film thickness gauge is designed for high-precision measurement of basis weight or thickness of single- or multi-layer films. Provides high tolerance to typical operating environments; i.e., it is unaffected by nominal changes in lighting, humidity, temperature, and web pass-line height and flutter. Proprietary optical bench reduces sensitivity to light diffusion. Gauge is said to be equally adept at accurately measuring clear and pigmented films as well as voided/pearlized BOPP films.
