IADD·FSEA Odyssey Filled with Features
- Published: July 12, 2017
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL | More than 1,600 print finishing, diemaking, and die-cutting professionals registered for the 2017 IADD·FSEA Odyssey’s live equipment demonstrations, classroom education sessions, and awards networking reception, held May 17-19 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL. The registration numbers once again set a record over prior years. The event is sponsored by the International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking and the Foil & Specialty Effects Association.
“A significant effort has gone into creating a one-of-kind experience for our industry, and this year’s Odyssey continued the tradition of offering extreme value for anyone involved in print finishing, diemaking, or diecutting,” says Cindy Crouse, IADD CEO. “No other event offers the focused attention on our industry, and the attendees benefit by attending technical seminars, watching new equipment demonstrations, and networking with others running businesses with similar market focuses.”
The Odyssey featured 25 interactive educational sessions, both on-press in the Techshop and in the classroom. This year, 42 pieces of running equipment captured the attention of attendees looking for the latest technology for their facilities, and 108 suppliers specific to the fields of diecutting/diemaking, foil stamping, folding/gluing, UV coating, and others were on site.
In addition to workshops, classroom sessions, and the Technology Hall, winners of the 24th Annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards competition were announced.
