IPACK-IMA 2015 Has a Broad Agenda
- Published: April 24, 2015
MILAN, ITALY | Organizers report that visitor pre-registrations for IPACK-IMA 2015, scheduled for May 19–23 at the Fieramilano in Milan, have reached and are likely to exceed 25,000. This is a 20% rise compared to previous IPACK-IMA and Converflex editions.
The global exhibition for suppliers of technology and materials for processing and packaging expects visitors from more than 100 countries and will co-locate with Meat-Tech, Dairytech, Fruit Innovation, Converflex, and Intralogistica Italia. Reportedly, 81% of pre-registrees are planning to visit at least two or more of the jointly held exhibitions, particularly those dedicated to fresh food. Organizers add that more than half of expected visitors say they are decision-makers inside their company.
The event will include more than 100 events including international conferences, roundtables and workshops, including an international conference on May 20th entitled “Designing a resilient future: Food, Technology, and Sustainable Development.” “Innovation Corners” will be dedicated to innovation and exhibitor presentations, and the agenda also includes institutional meetings with several national and international associations.
The event also will host two international events organized by AIDIC (the Italian Assn. of Chemical Engineering): iCheap12, the 12th edition of the International Conference of Chemical Engineering; and Frutic Italy 2015, a global show of engineering applied to fruit and vegetables.
Other events held during IPACK-IMA and its related exhibitions include the European assemblies of meat industrialists, bran producers, flexography, a meeting of the World Packaging Organization, and many others.
