Enercon Webinars to Cover Treating & Web Handling

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI | Enercon reports two upcoming webinars in March.

• March 7: “Corona Treating Essentials: Printing Labels & Packaging on Narrow & Mid-Webs”

This free educational webinar will provide converters with a refresher course on basic corona treater operation. VP of Application Engineering Tom Gilbertson and regional sales manager Jessica Toellner will offer a presentation on key corona treating concepts. Company says users of Enercon corona treating equipment, other brands of corona treaters, and even those without corona treating experience will find value in the presentation. After the webinar, attendees will receive a link to an interactive quiz to prove the knowledge they've gained.

• March 13: “Best Practices for Web Handling In & Out of Corona Treaters”

This webinar will address the challenges of managing polymer films less than 1 mil in thickness through corona treaters, and how extruders and converters can improve their success in corona treating these materials. In flexible packaging as well as other applications, these thin films are exposed to challenging mechanical stresses during processing as well as actual consumer usage, company explains. While most of these polymer films are durable enough under tensile stresses, they are prone to wrinkling and backside treatment.

Join Enercon's Tom Gilbertson, and Mario Leonardelli as they present a best practices presentation for web handling in and out of corona treaters.
