Radiant Energy to Display Pilot Line

HAWTHORNE, NJ | Radiant Energy Systems reports its pilot coating line is designed to help develop new products or improve existing processes for a wide range of converting applications. The company will be exhibiting at ICE USA 2015, February 10–12, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

The pilot line is said to be flexible for a number of processes including coating, drying, curing, laminating, annealing of plastic films, and printing on various substrates. Webs run on this line include paper, films, foils, nonwovens, fabrics, and many other types of webs. The line can be fitted with an open mesh Teflon coated fiberglass belt for certain applications.

Company says pilot line offers unique capabilities in drying using flotation dryers, impingement dryers, infrared, infrared with air, and combination dryers. The hot air dryer zones are gas fired. IR heaters can be gas or electric. In electric, company offers short, medium, and long wavelength heaters. These capabilities can be used individually or in combination.

In addition to exhibiting, company will present a discussion of “Basic Industrial Drying Methods” at the CEMA pre-show educational session, Monday, February 9, at 1:30 pm.
