Flint Enters Joint Venture in Africa

LUXEMBOURG | Flint Group, Continental Printing Inks, and Eagle Ink Systems have completed a joint venture agreement that creates a new combined business, Flint Group Africa.

“Flint Group and Continental Printing Inks are very pleased with this new partnership and the opportunities it presents to the customers in this important and growing region,” says Antoine Fady, CEO, Flint Group. “We are looking forward to working with Sampie Hamman [CEO Flint Group Africa] and his team to further grow our business together and bring customers in Africa the combined expertise of both Flint Group and Continental Printing Inks.”

Doug Aldred, president Packaging and Narrow Web for Flint Group, says, “Geographical expansion is a key pillar of our strategy, and Africa is an important growth region for the packaging industry. The significance of Africa is evident by the recent entry of the large multinational converters; this aligns perfectly with Flint Group’s global value proposition.”
