Ipex 2014 Takes Its Message on the Road

LONDON, UK | Informa Exhibitions, organizers of Ipex 2014 (26th March 26–April 2, ExCeL, London, UK), reports plans to host a significant series of roadshows in the event's key international visitor territories throughout the whole of 2013.

The roadshow will give delegates their first opportunity to experience the Ipex 2014 theme of “discovering” and “exploring” the role of print role within the fast-changing marketing mix. Each event will include networking opportunities, key print groups with which to engage, associations, media, and exhibitors. They will offer the latest industry analysis, trends, and statistics, including discussions of growth opportunities and presentations of relevant case studies.

Ipex 2014 marketing director Nick Craig Waller says, “We will present informative and engaging events that will focus on the international printing community, especially among emerging markets, to ensure we engage, attract, and deliver these visitors to London in 2014. There has been a significant rise in footfall from emerging markets around the globe—at Ipex 2010, the split was 52% UK and 48% international visitors, and we expect an increase to a 55% international, 45% national split. China, for example, is increasing its collective stand space by over 100% at Ipex 2014, and we expect to see a corresponding increase in visitor numbers as well as increased activity in the media and associations.”

The current list of countries on the Ipex 2014 international roadshow includes Australia ((Sydney & Melbourne), Belgium/Netherlands, Brazil (Sao Paulo), China (Beijing & Shanghai), France, Germany, India (Mumbai & New Delhi), Italy, Japan, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, UK (ten cities), and the US (Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York).

"… we are delighted to announce such a wide range of key territories that will be visited on our Ipex 2014 international roadshow,” says Waller. “We look forward to help delegates with their first step on the journey to discover and explore new opportunities for print as part of the marketing mix at our roadshow events."
