Graph Expo Reports Satisfaction

RESTON, VA | Graph Expo 2010, held October 3-6 at Chicago's McCormick Place, featured 506 exhibiting companies, including 68 first-time exhibitors, reports show producer Graphic Arts Show Co. (GASC).

GASC also reports 12,552 actual verified attendee/buyers (defined as registered on-site show goers — counted only once — regardless of their number of days at the show, or times they enter the exhibit hall) from 69 countries.

The show offered 20 co-located industry programs and events that provided attendees a widely expanded range of business, education, and networking opportunities.

Independent research conducted by Exhibit Surveys shows an “overall satisfaction” of exhibitors at 70%, says GASC, compared to the 53% rating for the 2008 show. Alwan Color Expertise registered its best trade show sales since drupa 2008, according to Dave Hunter, Alwan's representative for North America. “We generated excellent sales and significantly extended the reach of our sales network, which bodes very well for the future.”

Mark Hischar, president and CEO, KBA North America, says, “We are pleased with the show results, and our colleagues in Germany were impressed with the customer response.”

Graph Expo 2011, themed “Embrace Technology,” is scheduled for September 11-14, again at McCormick Place. For more information visit www.graphexpo.com.
