Dunmore Marks 40 Years

BRISTOL, PA | This year Dunmore Corp. joins The Assn. of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) in celebrating 40 years in the industry.

Dunmore, a solutions provider for the coating, lamination, and metallization of films, was one of the original companies comprising the Vacuum Metallizers Assn. (VMA), which in 1970 became AIMCAL and began including industrial coaters and laminators.

The late Michael L. Sullivan, founder of Dunmore and AIMCAL president from 1977-1978, saw AIMCAL as a conduit for companies to collectively face industry challenges, which in turn benefited everyone in the supply chain from the raw material vendor to the end-use consumer.

Dunmore credits its film processing mastery in part to AIMCAL, which in the past four decades has proven to be a quintessential learning resource.

In addition to aqueous, solvent, and radiation-cured coating, metallizing, and dry and wet laminating, Dunmore provides all these processes in pilot systems and laboratories. (For more on AIMCAL's anniversary, see p33.)
