Messe Düsseldorf has significantly expanded the showcase and concept of the drupa innovation parc (dip) presented by HP for the 2008 show. In 2004, 8,600 sq. ft. were set aside for dip, but at drupa 2008, 160 exhibitors in eight different sections on over 35,500 sq. ft. of exhibition space in Hall 7 will shape the show's innovation parc.
dip will be a hotspot for digital innovation and will have eight different sections, each with a theme revolving around current developments in the print and media industry, as well as related fields. The following theme parks are planned: print buyer integration parc, creative production parc, document production parc, pdf + xml production, digital picture parc, online communication parc, and print + publishing parc.
