Splicing Tape Enables Straight Line Pattern

CHARLOTTE, NC | The tesa 51180 EasySplice BoardLine product from tesa tape is designed for paperboard printers, coaters, and converters. Reportedly takes roll stock web splicing to a new dimension by enabling a straight line splice pattern applied to each web as opposed to the complex patterns previously required to secure splices during flying splice applications. Product is designed to handle full-speed runs.

Consists of a two-part tape system in one strip: the top half of the tape is applied to the top layer of a new roll and acts as the splicing agent to the expiring web; the bottom half of the tape is applied to the second layer of the roll to secure the roll’s flap during storage. An aggressive adhesive system ensures strong initial grab.
