LONGMONT, CO, USA—Applied Films Corp. reports on March 1, 2002, the company celebrated the production commencement of its first chamber of its vacuum web coating system in its new manufacturing facility in Alzenau, Germany. According to the film manufacturer, the arrival of the chamber is the culmination of a year-long project to construct a new plant to house all of the co.'s German operations at one location.
