Chiricosta joins ICE USA

BURLINGTON, MA | Mack Brooks Exhibitions (MBE) show director Michael Boyle names converting industry veteran and marketing director Bob Chiricosta as the new director sales and marketing of ICE USA.

Boyle explains: “Having been an exhibitor at numerous paper, plastics and converting trade shows all over the world Bob is very familiar with the business exhibition model. He has planned and organized exhibits for numerous shows on all continents for his previous employers during the past decade, including some other Mack Brooks events.”

“With a keen exhibition brain and love of trade shows, he decided to change sides and become part of the sales, marketing and organizing team of ICE USA. Together we have a clear goal of establishing ICE USA as the leading marketplace for converting decision-makers in North America within four years and I am convinced he is the ideal man for the job.”

Mr Chiricosta is a graduate of chemistry and plastics engineering and has had 35 years experience in the paper and nonwovens sectors. More recently he worked for a leading international supplier of machine vision systems for the metals, paper, plastics, nonwovens and converting industries. He will work out of the new Mack Brooks office near Boston in Burlington, MA.

ICE USA will take place from April 6–8, 2011 in Orlando, FL, at the Orange County Convention Ctr. (OCCC). The show recently was named by MBE to replace CMM, which it acquired last year.

Other events MBE stages include are ICE Europe (Munich, Germany), ICE Asia (Shanghai, China) and ICE South America (São Paulo, Brazil).
