Labelexpo Asia Reports More Than 75% of Space Sold

SHANGHAI, CHINA | Labelexpo Asia 2009 is taking place at the Shanghai New Intl. Expo Ctr. in Shanghai during December 1-4, 2009, with more than 75% of exhibition space already sold. The last event attracted more than 14,000 visitors and more than 200 exhibitors; Labelexpo Asia 2009 is anticipating to attract more than over 250 exhibitors with an audience of over 15,000 visitors, including label printers and brand owners. Visitors will be able to see all the world’s leading label technologies under one roof. Organizers of Labelexpo Asia 2009 say it is really gearing up for its best show ever with support from the Shanghai Trade Printing Assn., China Academy of Printing Technology (CAPT), Indonesian Packaging Assn., China Print ,and Printing Industries Assn. of the Philippines (PIAP).

With the Chinese label printing industry continuing to develop rapidly with an increasing number of high profile brands moving into China, the demand for labels in the region continues grow. Because so much of the world’s manufacturing takes place in China, according to Tarsus Group Labelexpo sources, this is where many of the labeling processes take place.
