The Graphic Arts Show Co. has decided to delay the inaugural staging of PackPrint, which was scheduled to take place on September 9-12 in Chicago.

“Because we continue to believe strongly that the marketplace needs and will ultimately support PackPrint, we will consider producing this event in the future,” GASC reports. “Our marketing contacts, interviews and other feedback have revealed an impressive amount of goodwill toward PackPrint on the part of prospective exhibitors, including commitments to the show by a number of leading firms.”

GASC’s intends to bring to the package printing and converting marketing a trade show at the level of excellence that has always been associated with GRAPH EXPO, CONVERTING EXPO and PRINT. According to GASC, “Falling short of this standard would be a disservice to participating companies, and would ultimately compromise our ability to present a successful PackPrint in the future.”

Converting and related technologies will be prominent among the displays at GRAPH EXPO 2007, Sept. 9-12, McCormick Place, Chicago.
